The Workshop

Wood that holds a namelonger than paper does.

Alt Key Creations builds signs, engraved keepsakes, and intarsia from solid hardwood: herringbone and chevron fields, dimensional raised lettering, matte black frames. One bench, one maker, one piece at a time.

4 of 12 build slots left for [Autumn 2026].

Path one

Commission something that does not exist yet

You bring the idea, the wall, or the feeling. The studio draws it, proofs it, and builds it. Deposit opens a slot.

EDITION NO. 014

The Midnight Oak Collection

Reclaimed oak, ebonized to near black, with raised lettering left in natural oak so the grain reads against the dark. The edition is numbered. When the run closes, the studio does not rebuild it.

Meet the maker

One bench, no shortcuts, no outsourcing

Alt Key Creations is a one-maker studio. Every board is chosen off the rack by hand, every layout is drawn before it is cut, and every finish is rubbed in rather than sprayed on. The tagline is Change the Norm, and it means exactly what it says: nothing here is meant to look like the mass-produced version of itself.

Built in [City, State] since [Year founded].
