Privacy policy
The short version: the studio collects what it needs to build and ship your piece, and nothing it can sell.
What is collected
- Order details: name, email, shipping and billing address, and what you ordered.
- Commission inquiries: what you tell the studio in the form, including contact details.
- Email list: your email address and where you signed up, if you chose to subscribe.
- Basic site analytics: pages viewed and referring source, in aggregate.
Payments
Checkout is handled by Shopify. Card details are entered on Shopify's payment pages and are never seen by or stored on this site. Shopify's own privacy terms apply to that step.
The wall visualizer
Photographs you upload to see a piece on your own wall are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to a server and are discarded when you leave the page.
What is never done
Your information is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not used to build advertising profiles. It is shared only with the parties needed to fulfil an order: the payment processor, the shipping carrier, and the email provider if you subscribed.
Subscribing is opt-in and every message has a one-click unsubscribe. Order and commission emails are transactional and are sent whether or not you subscribe.
Your rights
Write to [studio@altkeycreations.com] to see, correct, export, or delete the information the studio holds about you. Requests are handled within 30 days. Records tied to a completed sale are retained as long as tax law requires.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep your cart between visits and to count visits in aggregate. Blocking them in your browser will empty your cart but will not otherwise break the site.
